Deer:
I found this image online and felt it could be useful to me, allowing me to have a greater understanding of a stag's bone structure and skeleton shape, therefore possibly helping me to clearer perceive the way in which they move about.

Sketchbook drawings of deer, drawn on location. through these sketches i was trying to get a better grasp of the deers body structure and some of the movements it's skeleton can achieve.

Below I have also included some video footage of the deer at Ashton Court which I captured.
Unfortunately though I found this video to be quite long and tiring so I don't blame you if you begin to skip through as you whatch it. I felt for me it was easier to study the deer there on location as your eyes seem closer to them and able to pick up far more detail than my camera could. However I'm still glad I took some basic footage as i feel it can still help to further develop my action analysis of the deer at a later date when I begin to cross reference the footage with the rough sketches I drew at the same time on location.

Rhino Walk Cycle Rotoscope:
Below you can see a looped rotoscope I created from still shots of a Rhino walking.
I did this to help me gain a better understanding of quadruped locomotion.

My Dog Skye:
Whilst I was home over the easter period I also chose to study my household dog called Skye. I found this rather useful as it allowed me to take more time over analyzing her actions and watching her as she moved about the house, rather than animals quickly passing by me whilst in a park etc.
Sketches:
Here you can see some illustrations that I have drawn, in the medium of both pen and digitally through Photoshop.
Analyzing the Bone Structure:
I also tried to think about her bone structure, to help me work out where her limbs and general body parts connect and also in what way, so that I could try to understand how this could effect her general actions and movements.
Film Footage of Skye:
In this section you can see all of the video footage I captured of Skye. With some sections of the video footage I also chose to edit it through Final Cut so that the playback speed was slower, meaning I could then study the action far easier.
